React Job: React Native Developer

Description

React Native developer to work on Vodafone's flagship applications (My Vodafone App and others), to integrate a vast team of developers with multiple skill sets. Be part of our working squads and contribute for Vodafone's global application development.

Job Responsibility

• Accountable for designing, building, and optimizing mobile apps as part of Vodafone Digital Engineering team;
• Assists, advises and contributes to developing strategic IT Development standards;
• Works effectively with colleagues through development activities enabling achievement of the IT strategy;
• Knowledge in business domains to help teams analyse, test, build and delivery quality software.
• Ensures solving problems, analysis and interpretation of differing situations in order to identify, search and select the best solution;
• Understands the business needs and provides technological support of demand management during concept and solution design phases and change requests;
• Maintains strong relations with relevant stakeholders, to include Architects, Solution Designers, project team and vendors;
• May provide informal guidance to junior staff.

Competencies

• Degree in Computer Science or similar.
• Solid experience developing modern apps (for Android and iOS) and strong understanding of its lifecycle is an advantage;
• Ability to work with Agile Methodologies like scrum, Kanban and SAFe;
• Capability to define solutions and architect mobile apps
• Ability to write readable, maintainable, testable, performant code for Mobile applications;
• Must possess experience in using Linux, Jenkins, Git, Slack, Splunk, SoapUI/Postman;
• Network communication; REST Full API Services, HTTP(S) Protocol, mocking and caching;
• Portuguese/English Language proficiency.
